As the festive break becomes a distant memory, we look ahead at what’s in store for Akixi’s analytics solutions over the next 12 months. Read on to discover the new features and product enhancements on our 2020 roadmap.
Available Now! New Mobile App Features & Product ‘Quick Tips’
We have added additional report types to the mobile app, previously only available on Akixi’s web-based application. ‘Extension’ reports, ‘unreturned lost calls’ and ‘hunt group’ reports are now available on the mobile app, making it even easier for you to keep up to speed with your business operations when you’re on the go.
Improvements to the mobile app’s user interface (UI) and the introduction of ‘swiping reports’ means that you can now access and view your reports more quickly. Swiping left/right between your various reports avoids you having to switch reports via the Report Menu button.
We have also updated the Akixi mobile app to support the dark and light themes* found on later Android and iOS operating systems. The image below shows how the Akixi mobile app displays in both light and dark theme modes. Simply go to your device settings to switch the app to one of these themes.
All these enhancements to the mobile app are already available – just ensure you have updated your app to the latest version to benefit from these new additions.
Also available now is a new ‘Quick Tips’ section on the website at https://www.akixi.com/quick-tips/. Following a fantastic response to our weekly Akixi #TipTuesday product tips which we launched last year, we have now collated all our useful product tips and put them into an online catalogue. So whether you want some useful pointers when it comes to the reporting portal, or some bite-size tips to help you build reports, check out the Quick Tips area of the website today.
Coming soon! White-Labelled Mobile App
From February 2020 we will be offering the mobile app as a white-labelled service, giving Akixi channel partners the opportunity to brand the app with their company logo and corporate colours.
Partners have been able to apply their own branding to the Akixi web-based application for a while now, so we are delighted to bring this feature to our mobile app, thus allowing end user customers to enjoy a seamless brand experience from their service provider. Further details will be communicated to partners soon.
Akixi users will soon be able to benefit from a new dashboard view, whereby supervisors can select multiple reports to be viewed on a single screen. There’s no limit to the number of dashboard views you can create, so you could have a specific dashboard for each team or multiple dashboards illustrating different KPIs, for example.
In addition, we are making the ‘unreturned lost calls‘ metric available as a statistic so you can add this to your wallboards making it even easier for you to respond quickly to missed calls, helping you to improve customer experience and minimise potential lost revenue.
We also continue to build on the UI improvements released last year in Akixi 2.0, and will be introducing a variety of small enhancements which will make a BIG difference to your overall user experience including:
- Persistant report row headers and footers
- ‘Sticky’ admin buttons
- Scrollable report tabs
- Full screen report view
- Auto zoom levels
- Wallboard image tiles
Summer 2020 – Akixi Report API
A highly-anticipated new Akixi report API will allow you to feed Akixi report data directly into third party applications, enabling you to integrate your business data seamlessly.
Later in the year we’ll be bringing you our ‘better out of the box’ experience. This will make it even easier and quicker to get up and running with the Akixi reporting platform. Features will include tutorial walk-throughs for new supervisors, contextualised reports giving you greater insight into your business operations, along with a number of new Akixi wizards to help you to build bespoke report sets and to support Akixi administrators with bulk configurations.
As you can see, we have lots of exciting developments coming your way during 2020 and we’ll be updating customers with specific software release news as it happens.
