Marketing Operations Manager

Job Summary

Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a motivated and highly-organised Marketing Assistant to join our busy team.

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, this is a key role in ensuring the Marketing department runs smoothly so the team can deliver campaigns and events, create marketing communications and sales resources, and manage marketing processes and administration effectively, on time and on budget.

From artworking and branded merchandise, to marketing reports, website updates and data management, you will undertake a variety of tasks in this role and will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a vital role in the development and ongoing maintenance of the team’s SharePoint site, making it easy for Akixi employees to access marketing resources quickly and easily.

This is a new position within a growing company and, as such, there is potential to develop the role and make it your own.

This role would be suitable for a business administrator with a keen interest in marketing, or someone with excellent communication skills and common sense looking for their first step in a marketing career.

The ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail, along with an evident interest in marketing, will be key to being successful, and you will ideally have some business experience.
A resourceful and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude, you will show a genuine interest in marketing and technology, have the confidence to support on key projects, and will enjoy being part of a small team in this successful company.

  • Work with the Marketing Operations Manager, create and maintain a Marketing SharePoint site
  • Support on preparation for marketing events
  • Support on development of marketing campaigns
  • Support on the creation of sales tools and marketing resources
  • Create artwork and update website to promote Akixi job vacancies
  • Create and maintain branded internal file templates
  • Set up and manage a Marketing image library and file catalogue
  • Support with social media content
  • Monitor branded merchandise stock levels
  • Support all Marketing team members with ad hoc tasks
  • Collate, develop and distribute Akixi e-newsletter
  • Review, update and segment partner data to ensure more effective targeting
  • Utilise Hubspot to support effective marketing activities and data management
  • Liaise with external suppliers (printers, designers, etc.)
  • Day-to-day administration of marketing systems including the Partner Zone (registration enquiries) and uploading content
  • Update Akixi website content and other online and offline materials
  • Optimise and maintain marketing data and mailing lists, ensuring platforms support sales and marketing processes and comply with GDPR
  • Be a brand ambassador for Akixi, ensuring brand guidelines are met internally
  • Keep up to date with marketing and industry trends
  • Be proactive in suggesting areas for improvement
  • Any other duties as required
