Job Summary

Due to 30% year-on-year growth, Akixi is expanding its footprint and portfolio and we expect this trend to continue as we develop our SaaS analytics solution in existing and new markets.

As Head of Pre-Sales International, your role will be to become technical trusted advisor to help attain net new service provider channel partners in the UK and Europe, to sell Akixi’s award-winning analytics platform and create an environment for growth, with a view to build out a pre-sales team as player manager.

Akixi has had tremendous success in the UK and US markets, with plans to expand its presence to new service providers in the UK and the relatively untapped potential in Europe. These service providers typically have their own unified communications and contact centre solutions built on Cisco infrastructure at the core, Cisco BroadWorks and Webex Calling. Additional products and platform integrations aligned to our company vision will further expand the opportunity for this international pre-sales role.

With previous experience providing technical pre-sales support and as trusted advisor to tier one and tier two service providers, helping to nurture and win net new service provider channel partners in a similar environment, you will be a motivated individual with a high level of technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and develop your career in a growing company and fast-paced industry.

A player/manager and an excellent communicator, you have the ability to quickly grasp and understand customer and channel business challenges and can demonstrate outstanding follow-up skills.

  • Be the technical face of Akixi for service provider opportunities
  • Own technical cycle with your targeted service provider channels as a technical trusted advisor, from initial engagement through to contract closure
  • Help your prospects to realise the ROI from Akixi solutions and the relevance to their go-to-market, helping them reduce churn, retain key customers and grow
  • Technical lead for the virtual Akixi team that will help close the new partner opportunities, from pre-sales support to the in-life Akixi partner development manager
  • Report to VP International who will provide coaching and mentoring
  • Key hire and part of the Sales team
  • Solicit and synthesise customer product feedback to contribute to product development

  • At least five years’ pre-sales support for net new service provider channel partners at a SaaS, analytics or technology company
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Senior management/board level gravitas and influence
  • Unparalleled follow-up skills. Channels have the impression that you listen and understand their needs
  • Be a dedicated point of contact for technical demonstrations and detailed product questions
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate and work well with co-workers and customers

  • General understanding of call/contact centre environments and their reporting requirements
  • General understanding and/or previous experience of working with business-grade VoIP and unified communication solutions
  • Prior experience using call reporting and analytics software
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A proven track record of winning net new service provider channels
