Job Summary

Light Up The Base is Akixi’s flagship go to market program enabling service providers to rapidly deploy, trial and commercialise business insights and call centre reporting tools. The role of the Head of Product Marketing and GTM programs is to own product positioning and messaging including the Akixi GTM program as well as commercial targets and implementation plan. Working closely with sales, the office of the COO, marketing and product management this role will combine both internal and external assets to deliver the GTM program to meet the requirements of Akixi’s service provider customers in Europe and North America. Over time the role will extend to cover Asian markets.

Your role is to bring together all the assets in Akixi’s business to deliver the commercial goals of the GTM program. You will own the business case and commercial targets for the Akixi Light Up the Base program alongside the product development and delivery plan. This will require co-ordination of product plan requirements, marketing programs and back-office operations. You will be the “face of Light Up the Base” leading interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for product taxonomy, product positioning and contribute to the CPMO office product strategy initiatives.

  • 10+ years working with large cloud communications providers in European, North America and Asian markets
  • 5+ years’ experience of product marketing of cloud communications services, deployment models and ecosystem
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience specifically in cloud voice/collaboration services
  • Product pricing strategy and implementation
  • Knowledge of public cloud services, available primitives and common charging models
  • Development of cloud-based processes
  • Deep understanding of service provider go-to-market processes for cloud comms services
  • Deep understanding of service provider business models for cloud comms services
  • Experience of the cloud contact centre market and the major solution providers
  • Experience with public cloud services from Cisco, Microsoft and Zoom
  • Experience in small business customer journeys for cloud-based services
  • Experience with channel-based marketing automation systems
  • Working in a business development capacity of to stimulate channel commercial activity
  • Experience of cloud business metrics
  • Commercial acumen with an operational mind set to move service providers through onboarding through to growth
  • Good communicator and networker who can bring Akixi personnel with them to deliver commercial targets
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical or commercial discipline
  • Strong writing skills for product definition drafts, marketing blogs and other materials as required
  • Experience working with press and analyst community as required
