Job Summary

Due to 30% year-on-year growth, Akixi is expanding its footprint and portfolio and we expect this trend to continue as we develop our SaaS analytics platform in existing and new markets.

As a Channel Development Manager your role will be to hunt for net new service provider channel partners in the UK and Europe, to sell Akixi’s award-winning analytics platform and create an environment for growth.

Akixi has had tremendous success in the UK and US markets, and wishes to expand its presence to new service providers in the UK and the relatively untapped potential in Europe. These service providers typically have their own unified communications and contact centre solutions built on Cisco infrastructure at the core, Cisco BroadWorks, BroadSoft and Webex Calling.

In addition, over the next 18 months, new product integrations to other platforms will further expand the opportunity for this new business hunter role.

With previous experience prospecting, nurturing, and winning net new service provider channel partners in a similar environment, you will be a motivated individual with a high level of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and develop your career in a growing company and fast-paced industry.

A team player and an excellent communicator, you have the ability to quickly grasp and understand customer and channel business challenges and can demonstrate outstanding follow-up skills.

  • Be the face of Akixi to net new service provider channels that you find, prospect and win
  • Own sales cycle with your targeted channels as a trusted advisor, onboarding net new channel partners
  • Help your customers to realise the ROI from Akixi solutions
  • Lead the virtual Akixi team that will help close the new partner opportunities
  • Report to Global Head of Sales who will provide coaching and mentoring
  • Part of a team of BDMs/CSMs
  • Solicit and synthesize customer product feedback to contribute to product development

  • At least two years’ experience winning net new channel partners at a SaaS, analytics, or technology company
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Unparalleled follow-up skills. Channels have the impression that you listen and understand their needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate and work well with co-workers and customers
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrable decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills

  • General understanding of call/contact centre environments and their reporting requirements
  • General understanding and/or previous experience of working with business-grade VoIP and unified communication solutions
  • Prior experience using Akixi’s call reporting and analytics software
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
